I was raised on a small family farm in a small (1000 residents) rural lumber and farming community in northern Maine. I was blessed with a rather subsistence based lifestyle eating with the seasons through hunting, gathering berries and greens, fishing, and growing vegetables and small animals (goats, rabbits, chickens). I attended college where I studied Geography and learned alongside others from around the world. My taste for cultural diversity and women's issues (Dartmouth was all male until 1972) was piqued at Dartmouth. I have a very diverse career trajectory, but I have never strayed from my interest in the natural world, all things animal, and creating a world where all beings thrive, live in dignity, and have a voice to shape their destiny.
Writing, strategy development, leading and facilitating conversations/meetings, project management, finance, and an appreciative viewpoint.
