This lock down is extra harsh on your mental health when you are over thinker who constantly needs distraction to not listen to your self because most of us are lazy and afraid to use our ultimate capacity . i think for me even this pandemic diseases is the worst of all time lets not forget the positive thing because i believe in every bad thing there is positive thing it is just most of us does not want to see that, on serious note the thing at this point life is teaching me right now is that i can really do this shit all by myself . a lot of us have ideas but only few who decide to do something and to speak up especially when you are women , as being a women is for me a blessing because despite the hell we experiences in this world we don't give up so let not be this lock down take control our emotional instead lets try to be a better person by listening to our self what we need in our lives because if we are not strong enough to stand up for our self we can not speak up for others women who need our voice.
thank you ! Mahlet Hadish

Dear Mahlet,
How are you? Hope you and your family are well and safe. I agree with you that this pandemic has also a positive effect in our lives. It is up to us to make use of the lockdown wisely. Some have learned a new skill, some practiced their hobby, some found time to do their house project, some get to exercise and meditate. Others help respond by donating time, money and effort. And listening to ourselves in a positive way will make us a better person.
Huggs.
Deae Pauline,
Thanks for the encouraging comment I'm happy to see there are people who can share my ideas with me .
Hi Mahihadish,
Thanks for your reminder that this is a time in which we need to find new ways to strengthen ourselves, meeting this crisis for the new stresses it is causing us, and because, yes, "if we are not strong enough to stand up for our self we can not speak up for others".
At least we have each other here, to learn from, to plan with, to share the ideas that come from this new reality. I love knowing you are an over thinker challenging yourself to capacity.
In sisterhood,
Tam

Hello, Mahihadish,
Welcome to World Pulse! What a joy that a new voice from Ethiopia is rising up!
This lockdown triggers anxiety and depression to many people including me. It truly important to take care of our mental health during this pandemic. Psychologists say it’s quite normal to feel stressed, anxious, and even depressed during this uncertain season. We need to be intentional in practicing care and empathy.
We’re looking forward to reading more from you. Please keep on writing.
