Its time for action



Intimate partner violence is a major challenges faced by women especially in developing world .It's is consequence range from personal health problems up to country wide loss of productivity and poverty overall 32.5% of ethiopian women experiance at least one type of intimate partner violence ,physical and emotional violence were each experianced at least one type of intimate partner violence ,physical emotional violence were each experianced by 22.5% of women while 9.6% study participate encounters sexual violence so the age differnce between women and her intimate partner has postive effect on emotional and sexual violence while the opposite is true for physical violence so when we see the proportion women in ethiopia continue to suffer from intimate partner violence physical and emotional violence were much more common than sexual violence and  it it is becuase lower educational  status of the partner and so what I want to say is by empowering women or let me say by empowering ourselves through improving socio economic status with focus to thier education and economical status.
