My Solidarity to the Women and the People of Egypt

I watched the news tonight I felt so inspired on the on going mass protest of the people of Egypt demanding President Mubarak to step down. I’m inspired because after the 30 years of Mubarak’s oppressive rule, finally, thousands of Egyptian people braved their fears against reprisal from Mubarak’s tyranny. This is a remarkable spirit of patriotism.

I would like to express my full support and solidarity to the tens and thousands women and men who are now protesting and risking their lives for the love of freedom and prosperity. My heart joins with the people especially the women of Egypt in this defining moment of their history.

Having undergone two dictators and tyrants ( Marcos and the Arroyo governments) I understand fully well the sentiments and the aspiration of the Egyptian people for freedom. Long Live the women of Egypt! Long Live the people of Egypt!
