SAFER INTERNET DAY IN PORTUGAL

In partnership with Tactical Tech, APAV (Portuguese Association for
Victim Support) will be launching the Portuguese translation of the Data
Detox x Youth at Safer Internet Day in Portugal this evening at 18:30
CET, with a live discussion between Tactical Tech's youth project lead
Daisy Kidd, João Pedro Martins, European Youth Ambassador for Children
Internet Safety, and Ricardo Estrela from APAV. The event will be

MISBEHAVING ALGORITHMS WORKSHOP

How much do we know about the algorithms that shape our lives? What
happens when you apply mathematics to the chaos of life? These were two
big questions that our workshop on 31st January at Science Gallery's
annual International Youth Symposium was trying to address. This year
over 400 participants took part in the event with the theme 'BOREDOM
REBELLION', connecting young people across the world to explore how
active boredom sparks collaborative creativity:
