SIMU YA MKONONI KWA WOTE

Maisha ya walemavu ina zarauliwa sana ndani ya dunia ya leo. Walemavu wengi hawana simu za mkononi, na iyo haiko muzuri vile. Tuna penda tujifuraishe ku njiya ya kuongeleshana kupitiya simu ya mkononi kama wengine watu.

Mobile phone for all

The life of disabled people is greatly despised in today’s world. Many disabled people do not have mobilephones and that is not right. We would love to talk to each other with mobile phones just like everyone else.
People do not respect us because of our state of disability. We feel left out, disregarded. People without disabilities do not consider us to be part of the society. For example in our families, if a child is born with a disability, it does not get treated like other children. When parents buy mobile phones for their children, they do not buy one for their disabled kid and they throw insults at him/her such as “get off, you, handicap! What would you do with a mobile phone? Who will call you and who will want to hear what you have to say?”
We, the disabled, are not happy with all of that and that is why we are asking the authorities of our country to help disabled people who cannot afford to buy mobile phones for themselves and the disabled people who leave with foster families.
