First day

Around 12 noon from attending class, i was eleven years old in my 5th elementary grade; was the first day of my menstruation.

When i saw my andies with blood, tears from my eyes wants to fall. I got feared and told myself that i didn't do anything.

I went upstair and looked to my mom, told her in shaking.

She instruct me to take a half bath. I went to cr together with her. She got my panty with blood and wiped to my face that will prevent you from having pimples.

After washing, my mom instruct me to jump 3 steps in our stair. My interpretation is that I will have a regular menstruation.

But for me it was to early. I thought starting age for menstruation is 13 but I got it at 11 years old. This starts me refraining from playing with my friends and classmates. It's the starts of don'ts at home and outside.

And honestly, this is the time that i wish i was not born, girl. On why?..this will be tackle on other stories.

Hi Maria,

Thanks for sharing your menstruation story, dear. What were the stair jumps for? I hear you on wishing that I wasn't born a girl. I recall that conversation quite frequently, especially when I had really bad menstrual cramps. I do hope you feel differently now, though?!

Hi Jill,
On the stair jumps for...in our belief it will prevent you from irregular menstruation. It's a superstitious belief from our old.
Regarding the statement that I hope i was not born girl, its because once a girl turn into adolescent our parents prohibited these things like that so on and so forth.
I hope i can elaborate it will and expand the discussion.
I find it hard to explain since i cannot express it well.
But you know, perspective change once you grow older and meet group of people helping you to change those perspective..
By the way, thank you for reading this. I know there is something more of it..
