I cannot help but highlight today how a simple publication in my World Pulse blog has brought a highly significant connection in community archaeology in  Costa Rica’s Southern Caribbean.                                                   Hola Maria! 

It is wonderful to meet you! I am an artist doing a PhD at York using artistic methods to explore the silenced history of 19 slave ships that were constructed in Newfoundland. 

My partner and I have recently bought a house in Atenas, Costa Rica. We want to live there in a few years when he retires! We are both from Jamaica and we can't wait to travel to the Caribbean coast!

I am so excited about what you are doing with the slave wreck diving and involving young people!
