PAINS OF CANCER

why is my heart beating so fast I need to see if my son is ok I went to the parlor were he is sleeping I touch him but he was cool and he could breath no more I shouted on the top of my voice but my child is gone cancer have taking him away after all the suffering he had gone through.

i saw my mother suffering because of the death of her son, this was a boy who promise heaven and earth to herI will buy you a car I will build you a house that was what he always said to her but her died at a very young age, he was a very loving brother although stubborn at time but his absence and death was a blow to us.

Abdual Hakim was a boy full of life and dream but an unfortunate incident could not allow him reach his dream.

It was during the december period there was trade fare and everyonewas eager to attain my mum refuse him not to go but he insisted to go, they all left together with his friends he wore his best dress smiling and waving us bye but few hours later there was confusion everywere and everyone was crying, with thenoise outside we had to go and see what is happening before then one of his friendswas screaming saying thatsomething terrible had happen to him, we all were frightened the question i ask him was what had happen to who his response was that your brother is deathas therewas an argument and one of the friends stape him with a knife and he was rush to the hospital when we reachthere hewas lying on the floor and everywhere was blood, at first the doctor said he was death but later he was taking tothe theatre and operated but we taught everything was OK but that was the beginning of his illness, the knife was pears on his neck

One year later my brother was diagnose of cancer the knife was infected .

We saw how his hair start changing as that of a little child, were he was pears start to swell each month he was to go to the hospital for therapy, it was thanks to my uncle in saudi, he was willing to sent 350,000 every month for his treatment my mum was one who take care of him, when ever the doctor sent her to buy drug he will ask her of be careful for it not to touch her palms. He was usually given an injection which make him pass away for about5hours before he could recover my mum went through hard times to take care of him, many nurses at times are the cause og patient death how can they behave unprofessional how can a nurses be discussing to the hearing of a patient that he will not survive the illness it was then when he told my motherthat he is going to die it was painful for us but there was every sign that he was not going to make it from the Douala district hospital to that of Yaoundé and finally he came back home,

I had travel when the news came that he was finally death my mother never tell anyone that he died due to cancer for fear of stigma it was recently I came to know that he died of cancer.

We can never predict what life have prepared for us.
