Mental Health and Covid - 19; let's be aware to take care of ourselves
Our Mental Health is very important especially during this pandemic be us infected or affected

COVID-19 has apparently become a mainstay for our lives at least in the foreseeable future. It has brought untold hardship and stress especially to the most vulnerable of our society. Healthcare workers and essential workers are greatly affected by such stress. In an impact survey conducted by I Am Cameroon it revealed that stress was a key concern of the healthcare workers in Cameroon. Obviously, this stress has an impact on the mental health of these healthcare workers. This session will focus on educating the audience on how we can manage the stress created by COVID-19 and particularly how healthcare workers can cope with the stress.

Covid - 19 and Mental Health was the topic of a show I was a guest on last Saturday. I was on a platform liked and followed by 10k people both in Cameroon and the diaspora. You could catch up on that in the video below.

How many people have you impacted since your last update?

Great to see that you are making strides in your impact Marie, and helping healthcare workers, some of whom are scared to go to work, but have to show up regardless.
I hope that one of the legacies left behind by Covid-19 will be pushing discussions on mental health from the shadows and into everyday talk.

Good stuff, keep it up!

Dear Nini,

Thank you very much. I really do love helping people and the pandemic is amplifying mental health needs we might otherwise have been ignoring.

Congratulations, dear Marie! I’m so proud of you!

Why did you put only 350 as people you’ve impacted if there were 10,000 who viewed your talk? Edit that, dear, and put on 10,000. With the video on YouTube, that will increase.

C’mon, sister, edit it! Haha. Hugs to you. Keep up the awesome work because mental health matters!

Dear Kaye,

Hahahaha, I wanted to put only views but you are right who knows who will watch later and on different platforms. I will see if I can edit the initiative.
I am truly happy my advocacy is growing such ample wings, and more invitations are coming up

I am glad we are having these discussions and targetting those who are very much impacted. Mental health matters for those in the healthcare and other essential workers need to be taken into consideration.
Having 10k people follow and listen to your discussion on this vital issue is impressive. Keep on impacting dear sis.
