A World Pulse Sister's soul support I must mention

Sometimes when we are torch bearers, so much is expected of us including the need for you to be unbreakable. But when you have to go to court and defend the civil claim of a 3 years old who was viciously sodomised and raped by her aunt's boyfriend of 33 years, and that in a 'foreign land' ( given I have never been to that part of the country where they are reputed for unorthodox and superstitious practices), I bet you, you need some moral backup.

I got to the city of Ebolowa on Sunday 02.06.19, and was just wrapping my prayers for the next day's event when I got a whatsapp from a sister I also call 'Camp Girl' like everyone else. She was asking for directions to come and support me morally. Wow wow wow. I mean she was in the capital city of Yaounde which was 2hours away, and she too had never been to this city.

Parchibell and I first met on World Pulse November 2018, before connecting very soon after on Facebook. We have a lot of common spirit, indeed my own self ascribed defining name is 'area girl'. What else can an area girl and a camp girl do other than soul sister each other? Camp girl and I belong to a very close group on whatsapp where "we are in it together". We finally got to meet physically a few months ago, and I proceeded to host her for a few days in my home.

So, Parch came and met me as early as 9 am, and we went everywhere I had to on that day. We met the different regional dignatories together except in court where she couldn't enter in the different chambers not being a lawyer lol. At the hospital with the director, she stepped in the gap and did the talking because I was already 'exhausted'. And then all was well which went well and we left that city together at past 4 pm for the 2+ hour bus ride to the capital city.

I can never be grateful enough to my World Pulse sisterhood. I mean Parch's moral and even strategic support was so soul. She even had to travel that same night to another city... awwwwwwww what beats this?

I conclude by saying World Pulse has created more than a platform to share our stories and for this I celebrate the visionary Ms JL (as I call her background lol)
