A landmark Solidarity and Sensitization walk against rape: A determined synergy

I had the best microphone ever lol (that's a shower head my son had broken hahahaha)

And the 9th of November came to pass. I am still doing some rest and recuperation (em supposed to be doing - but studies call o my). anyways I wanted to share some pictures and a brief video.

My world pulse sister @Rahel Randy was there to support me, and we had over 70 people including 4 kids. I am so grateful, and I know our synergy TARape or Together Against Rape is very determined. We may have been only two associations organizing all the way this time around, but we are marching on.

In total, we distributed 500 flyers, hung 3 banners in the air, and fixed 10 stickers all over the city. The message is #notorape #stoprapeo #thereishope #stopthestigma #noisno #tarape

I was honoured to have 17 volunteers, who even agreed for a meet up at the main muster point last sunday

Indeed, I am so grateful for all moral and financial support

The administration was represented all the way by the Divisional officer's personal assistant, the red cross honoured our invitation and even mother nature was kind.

To me and as many more expressed later on, the walk was a success.
