What's your mental health pulse striving and thriving on in the face of it all?

Dear World Pulsers,

It's been a whole month since I last posted here and I have been taking my pulse at different intervals just to be sure my mental stamina isn't so challenged. You know living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and working as a psychotherapist in challenging times like this (Covid-19 lockdown makes the scare and stress of infection worse), has made me more attuned to my own need to stay mentally strong and practice all the self care I can.

Here are 12 signs to check your mental health pulse

12 signs of mentally strong people  1) They can’t be taking advantage of 2) They know how to say NO 3) They ask and give constructive criticism 4) They say exactly what they mean 5) They are constantly adapting and flexible 6) They find solution to their problem (no pity parties) 7) They Know that it is okay to be wrong and can apologize 8) They focus on the brighter side 9) They enjoy solitude (spend time open improving on themselves) 10) They are in charge of their emotions (desensitize) 11) They don’t care of what others think to the point of it ruining their moment  12) They are patient in achieving results: independent, with so much self-love, great self-worth, and excellent self-esteem.

I am in a good mental space and actually looking forward to training on mental health awareness and care this Thursday in the Ambassadors' Thriving Thursdays zoom meetup. And you dear pulser, how are you doing mental wellness speaking?

Light and Love to all
