Women, Peace and Security

In order to ensure that women's priorities are at the center of peace and security movement at all levels, we need to be able to address the social, political and cultural barriers and also look into the risk of protection that is not allowing women to participate fully in sustaining and achieving peace. As such, for women to be integrated fully into peacekeeping and security, the number of women is to be increased, both civilians and uni for me. It is not only going to be a numerical aspect, but also the issue of an effective way of accomplishing the mandate of women.

Looking deeply into this, we can see that the effective participation of women at checkpoints has been of high credit because it has reduced the rate of Confrontational atmosphere, there is constant report of gender based violence and also it has lowered the rate of sexual exploitation and abuse. Thanks.
