As part of the campaign activities we have to sensitise, mobilise and select women who will serve as focal persons in local committees within our community. We had an outreach program at Bali Market which serves as a meeting point for women from all the areas that make up bali subdivision and its environs.

During this activity we didn't only target women we included men girls and a special group the commercial bike riders. These commercial bike riders following our interactions with young girls are the first people initiating young people into risky sexual behaviours

We had 20 one-on-one encounters with women who had particular worries. 8 young people with questions on their sexuality. 5 invitations to visit women' groups in the quarters. 3 invitations for such talks at three neighboring villages. we have received more than 70 sms from the population asking one question or the order.

Many were shy to come sit under the open canopy we provided for one-on-one interactions so we hope to get a tent next time. The videos too had a very good effect on the people which makes it imperative for more videos to be produced.

How many people have you impacted since your last update?

Thank you,Masalien's! I am greatly pleased by your strategy to be where the folks are -- right in the market! and I also like your decision to be more inclusive as you inivted men, and the commercial bike riders. You are in the right track, and I hope you can reach out to more people in your locality as you move forward this project.

Dear Sally,

Your approach is truly inspiring. Not only is it inspiring it's informative and educative and though very hard work it is at the heart of engagement and true transformation. Your community is fortunate to have you and your team and when it's all said and done I believe you would have created lasting impact.  I'm learning! Thanks for sharing.
