na kama hazionekane banakuuwa.

Jama nyingi zikahama bila mpango ya kuhama, watoto wengi haukusoma tena,hata nawengine wakaolewa

kwakinguvu na wale wanterahamwe.

People began to leave their homelands and suffered much.

Then the Interhamwe came and broke into the houses and stole all possessions and all livestock and harvest, and violence the women and girls.

After they violence the women they killed people and kidnapped some, taking them into the bush with them. They would hold the kidnapped people for high ransom.

Many families moved from their homes to Bukavu without any plan or resources. Many children are unable to go to school.

Since the families don't have any resources, they forced the girls to marry Interhamwe.

Until today, people continue to live in poverty
