FORMATION DES FILLES AMBASSADRICES SUR LES RESOLUTIONS 1325 ET 1820 AU CENTRE MAMA SHUJAA DU 24-08 AU 25 -08 – 2014.

La formation avait commence en retard par rapport à l’heure prévu, suivie de la présentation des nos formatrices et les participant(s) (es) filles ambassadrices et l’observatrice venant d’uvira malheureusement elle n’a pas pu terminer la formation.
La première intervenante MAVIC avait parlé sur l’historique de GNWP, quand la fondation et qui était la fondatrice. Fondatrice était MAVIC et assisté par Héléna GRANNERB fondée en 2006 mais officiellement en 2009. Dans l’initiative de l’influencé pour privilégié les droits de sécurité dans le pays en conflit. Si les pays n’honorent pas les lois concernant GNWP, la société civile observe et parle au monde entier et faire quelque chose par rapport aux lois.
Le but : - De renforcer les capacités des femmes et filles, promouvoir et protéger leurs droits, utiliser RSCNU 1325 et 1820 pour tenir la mise en application de loi dans le pays.
- De contribuer à la construction de la paix dans les communautés locales en utilisant les RSCNU 1325, 1820 et les autres résolutions sur les 3 principes :
- Construction pour la paix
- Education alphabétisation des femmes et filles
- Leadership.
Les objectifs :
 Améliorer le taux d’alphabétisation dans les communautés affectées par les conflits au Sud Soudan et RDC.
 Développer les compétences des femmes et filles en matière d’autonomisation.
 Sensibiliser les femmes et filles au sujet de leurs droits et renforcer leurs capacités d’affirmés leurs droits.
 Contribuer à la construction de la paix dans les communautés locales en utilisant 1325 et 1820, et les autres résolutions sur les femmes, la paix et la sécurité cadre politiques légaux.
Perceptions des conflits
Le conflit est une rupture des relations entre deux personnes ou pays, communauté. Pays ; une façon de voir les choses différemment et avoir des opinions différentes.

Ces questions ont été répondues par deux groupes et chaque groupe avez essayé de répondre d’une manière satisfaisante.
RESOLUTION 1325
Il y a trois piliers et ajouter d’autres.

- Promotion de l’amélioration de la vie
Participation : Faire participer les femmes dans la prise des
décisions à tous les niveaux
Prévention : - Guerre
- Violence sexuelle
Protection : - Femmes et filles contre les violences sexuelles et
genre.
- Droits des femmes.
Poursuite judiciaire :
- Les femmes sont les 1ères victimes
- les femmes sont les vulnérables et leurs
droits ne sont pas respectés.
- Longtemps marginalisées
- Protégeons les droits, nous nous protégeons aussi.
- Force de défendre nos droits.
 Responsabilité des filles ambassadrices pour la paix s’est apprendre les lois et les enseigner.

- DDRRR et personnel des missions des maintiens de la paix.
- Tous les acteurs impliqués dans la négociation et la mise en œuvre des accords de paix.
RESOLUTION 1820
 Prévention contre les violences sexuelles dans la guerre. Les pays : Yougoslavie, Rwanda tribunaux ont vue que les violences sexuelles : c’est un crime de l’humanité.
 Toutes personnes qui a commis les violences doit être exécutée.
Différence 1325 est très grande mais 1820 est centré sur les violences sexuelles.

Où en sommes-nous ?
Depuis Mars 2013, notre pays a adhéré à la résolution 1325, en vue de promouvoir les droits, la sécurité mais aussi la paix. Notre gouvernement a signé depuis Nov. 2000.
Signification de GNWP: Gobal Net Work For Women Peace Builders.
GNWP travaille avec SAFECO qui est le Synergie des associations des femmes du monde pour la paix. SAFECO est une partie des majeurs programmés de GNWP qui consiste à travailler avec les filles ambassadrices au Sud-Kivu et bientôt au Nord-Kivu.
Fin de la journée de premier jour :
Point fort de la formation nos formatrices étaient toujours actives sans se fatiguées.

TRAINING OF YOUNG GIRL AMBASSADORS ON RESOLUTIONS 1325 AND 1820 AT THE MAMA SHUJAA CENTER FROM AUGUST 24 TO AUGUST 25, 2014.

Training began later than planned, followed by presentations by our trainers, participants, young girl ambassadors and an observer from Uvira, who unfortunately was unable to finish the training. The first speaker MAVIC talked about the history of the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP): The foundation began initially in 2006, but was officially founded in 2009 by MAVIC herself and HELENA GRONBERG; its initiative was to prioritize the security rights for countries in conflict. If a country fails to honour the laws of the GNWP, then it will be seen by society, who will inform the whole world so that something can be done about it.

Goals:
- To strengthen the abilities of women and young girls, to promote and protect their rights, to use the United Nations Security Council Resolutions (UNSCRs) 1325 and 1820 for the purpose of implementing the law in the country,
- To contribute to peace building in local communities using UNSCRs 1325, 1820 and the other resolutions on the following 3 principals: peace building; education and literacy of women and young girls; leadership.

Objectives:
 To improve the literacy rate in conflict-affected communities in South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
 To empower women and young girls by developing their skills.
 To teach women and young girls about their rights and strengthen their capacity to assert them.
 To contribute to peace building in local communities using UNSCRs 1325, 1820, and other resolutions for women, peace and security in the political and legal context.

Perceptions of conflict:
A conflict is a breakdown of relationships between two people, countries or communities. Each country has a different way of seeing things and different opinions.
1. The causes of conflicts in our communities.
2. Impact on our families, communities, countries, young girls and women.
3. The actions & solutions taken to resolve these conflicts.
These questions were answered by two groups and each group tried to provide satisfactory answers.

RESOLUTION 1325
Resolution 1325 has three main pillars, alongside a few others:
1. Participation
2. Prevention
3. Protection
- Prosecution
- Promotion of gender equality
- Promotion of better quality of life

1. Participation: Involve women in decision making at all levels


2. Prevention: Of war; sexual violence


3. Protection: Of women and young girls from sexual and gender-based violence; women's rights.

Prosecution:
- Women are the primary victims.
- Women are vulnerable and their rights are not respected.
- Women have long been marginalized .
- Protect women's rights, and we protect ourselves as well.
- Strength to defend our rights.

 The responsibility of young girl ambassadors towards peace is learning the law and teaching it.
GENDER
- Social construction
- Inherently different
- Change: begins with children, young girls & boys
- Raise awareness among boys and men
- Raise awareness among women

 Equality of women and men: leads to a better society (except for in the context of childbirth).
-Sharing responsibilities.
- Responsibility: - Not assigned purely based on gender.
- No differences: shared responsibilities, no differences.
- Where does this stereotype come from.

Who should implement this resolution?
- The Security Council.
- The Secretary General.
- The Member States.
- All parties in armed conflicts.
- All persons involved in the planning phase of a peace process.
- DDRRR (disarmament, demobilisation, repatriation, reintegration, and resettlement) and staff members in peacemaking missions.
- All parties involved in the negotiation and implementation of peace agreements.

RESOLUTION 1820
 Prevention of sexual violence during war. Countries: The tribunals of Yugoslavia and Rwanda are filled with sexual violence ‒ this is a crime against humanity.
 All persons who commit sexual violence must be brought to justice.
- Resolutions 1325 and 1820 are quite different in scope, with 1820 being focused on sexual violence.

Where do we stand?
Since March 2013, our country has adopted Resolution 1325 to promote rights, security and also peace.
Our government signed the resolution in November 2000.

Meaning of GNWP: Global Network for Women Peace Builders.
GNWP works together with SAFECO: SAFECO is part of GNWP's major programs that work with girl ambassadors in South Kivu, and soon North Kivu.
