English translation by community member HARMONY.

We departed from MUMOSHO on Tuesday 16/12/2014 at 9:15am and arrived at 11:25 in the cutting and sewing room where we were warmly welcomed. The young lady Princesse MULUZINYERE gave the opening speech and the objectives of the program. The layout was as follow:

- Recall of the topic dealt with at the previous meeting: family planning;

- Presentation of play (Theatre).

Bénédicte BULANGALIRE started the recall of the last topic, to see whether people still remember what was said. After that, she continued with the same topic: family planning. She talked about the means for birth planning with the husband's agreement; how to avoid unwanted pregnancies and she answered some questions for more explanation. The material used was the cycle beads. The trainer asked the participants to give the duration of their menstrual cycle: it varied from 26 to 32. She based her explanation on a cycle beads of 32 and the girls ambassadresses for peace discussed with the participants to satisfy their questions. They gave some clues for a woman or a girl to be clean and avoid some germs responsible for infections if not well treated. The participants appreciated the discussed topic and proposed another one for the next meeting to be held in January 2015: “ABORTION AND MARRIAGE”.

Unfolding of play: WHO WILL LEAD MY COUNTRY OUT OF THE CONFLICT?

It painted the implication of young girls in the research for peace, and lasted two hours and half, followed by some recitals of poem and a game of intellectual capacities in several domains called “genie en herbe” conducted by Pascal BYAMUNGU to motivate the participants. The major difficulty was the rain that disturbed the presentation of the play but, God helping the rain stopped and we closed our program around 4pm.
