Introducing myself and my journal: On Being a Black Christian Woman

About Me:
Currently a Masters Candidate at Concordia University (M.A., International Service and Development), I am excited to be a part of a community of women united by the desire to inspire change. I earned my Bachelors of Science at Cornell University where I studied Policy Analysis and Management. Though I am currently a student, I love writing and music. I hope to someday expose the shortcuts formerly reserved for a privileged few, such as scholarships and gap year programs, providing marginalized communities with equal opportunity to success.

My Passions:
Race relations, gender equity, religion

My Challenges:
Stereotypes based around my visible identity

My Vision for the Future:
An honest and courageous people, loving and caring enough to have tough conversations

My Areas of Expertise:
I guess we will find out together!
