The highly creative , internationally certified and immensely awarded Musola Cathrine Kaseketi is a very difficult celebrity to write about . Her creativity and experience is vast and abundant that you can’t summarize to come out with something you get satisfied that you have really fully profiled this iconic and elephantic figure. An Icon who have traversed the world from Zambia , Africa , Asia , America and Europe amassing great human rights richness , academic excellence and creative/cultural and film making wealth. She is really the Queen Mother of Southern African Film.





Musola was born in Solwezi and grew up in Kabwe ,Zambia in the year 1968. In that great year an icon was born, a shining star , a believer and a fighter in the making. Musola has a physical disability but she has defied the entire stigma by her astounding and mesmerizing work she is doing around the globe, what a lioness!
Musola is a determined, hardworking, internationally acclaimed first Zambia Film Director and filmmaker, her filmmaking prowess is punctuated by her strong managerial clout , thought provoking leadership and initiative skills.



She boasts of great professional attainments, she is a graduate of designing and tailoring from Livingstone Zambia, graduated in Cinema and Human rights from Inter-University in Venice Italy ,a graduate of Events and Festival Planning from an International Germany Academy . This blogger cannot omit her excellence in Film and Television attained in South Africa. She really possess an anthology of awards, certificates, projects and profiles that cannot be exhausted by a single blog.



Musola is a film producer, director and editor of note , who have received a lot of awards in both film and human rights advocacy. Musola is a diverse character who requires careful profiling and blogging because of a lot of work she has achieved , Musola is a also a playwright and have also produced and directed human rights themed films including Broken Hill Man by Vilole Images Production, Dreams of Forgotten Youth, Unreal Forest that was co-produced with Extra Virgin Limited Thailand,Suwi Feature film by Vilole Images production, Hope Eternal feature film by Vilole Images production.
In 1999 she worked on two successful productions in South Africa namely,Streaks11 a 13 episode comedy on SABC and Making A Difference in Life as a producer , director and scriptwriter. The production was produced by the Newton Film and TV school.

One Zambia writer had this to say about the Icon Musola, ‘despite her physical ability a dozen of glass ceilings, which ordinarily could have weighed her down. She is a woman leader of great talent and aggression’.
The Lioness of Zambia Musola has graduated from a number of creative writing schools with distinctions.
In 2002 Musola founded the Vilole Images Production and she is the current Executive Director of the production house which is so popular in Zambia. Alongside her directorship in this production house, she works as a film training consultant. She is also a trainer of Community Based Rehabilitation, Disability Equality Training and Girls with Disabilities Advocate. In 2011 the lioness created another community related project VIP Chibwanse [Women Meeting Place] and also founded the Shungu Nyamutitima Film Festival in 2006 which is running into its 10 year of existence in 2015.



The Film festival have brought positive hype to the Zambia Arts and culture environment and has also brought life every august to the splendid Livingstone city , where Mosi a Tunya /Shungunyamutitima cascades its smoke and waters down the ever smiling gorges!
