Hi, I live in one of the best countries in the world-Australia. I was fortunate enough to get a great education and I became a chef. I'm also fortunate enough to have been able to speak my mind and not suppressed. I have many friends from many countries and many faiths. We live in a crazy world at the moment, and as my parents have said-it's like taking two steps forward and ten steps back. I feel like humankind has to start from the beginning again, from the basics. Food is a basic, so I'm starting here. Food is also supposed to bring people together, so I'm also starting from here. I have designed a new sort of cookbook-a fusion of African flavorswith other eastern and also western dishes. I wish to see people realizing spices from different countries mix well together, and so do people from different countries. My aim with this cookbook is not all about fame, but for my recipes to be in every kitchen around the world. My wish is for my recipes to bring joy to people whilst being cooked and eaten. Humankind needs a lot of help right now, and my plan is for my book to bring people together. Lucky Dube spread the message through music, I'm spreading through food.
