Canadian Center for Women's Empowerment

The Canadian Center for Women's  Empowerment (CCFWE).

The program supports domestic violence survivors through mentorship and resources to achieve long term safety and financial stability. We believe that entrepreneurism is one important option for providing women with opportunities to generate their own income, celebrate their unique skills, and self-determine aspects of their employment circumstances.

In Canada, 80% of homeless families are women, so it’s no surprise that shelter use among children and youth in Canada is up by 50%. Violence and unemployment are the top contributing factors to a woman losing her home. CCFWE breaks this cycle by providing customized services for women to build a sustainable pathway out of poverty.
