My Personal Assets Map

A lot of the work I've been doing this past year is back-end business development from local cafes. I don't feel as comfortable or secure in local libraries. I hope to find places where I can work that are not charging such as co-working spaces, which do seem cool - just not right for me at this time.

I'm most proud of being outgoing and dedicated to relationship building and strategic partnership development. I use these skills all the time - it's been a coffee meeting networking 2015! Most of these meetings are at local cafes, if they're playing a good sountrack that is a plus -though I bring my headphones just in case.

I ask friends, family, and associates for advice. It's very humbling to ask for help and when I recieve it that is also hard. It's hard to feel special and worth it. I do need help finding employment to supplement while my small business grows. I've been networking and asking for help, asking questions, and clarifying!

I love using pen and paper - what a fun exercise.

Hi Michelle

I like what you say about asking help. It is very surprising when we ask what we can unexpectedly receive and not necessarily from the closest people. I have laso had a tough time to ask for help during a long time. Now this is changing and it leads to miracles sometimes.

I hope you continue in this way. never be discouraged as it feels right for you !

all the best

I greatly admire out going people. I doubt that I'm one. At one time I realized that I needed to meet more and more people so that I enrich my networks. So I began to meet different people in small teams. I like the coffee idea, it just makes drinking coffee an all so meaningful agenda.m

I wish you  continued success as you reach out to others and build your network of support.  Meeting in coffee shops is a great idea, and keeps you out in public, rather than stuck at home or in an office.  I hope you have good results in your quest for help with your small business.  That sounds so courageous to me!  Seeking help is never an easy process but can lead to amazing results!

Best of luck in your search,

Barbara

Dear Michelle,

I love your spirit of adventure, and trust that going with the flow by being out in a coffee shop and being open to whoever you meet by chance or invitation to sit down with you, can result in some important relationships or stategic partnerships. Your determination to stay open to possibility is inspirational, and it is also a cornerstone in allowing creative ideas to come through. Your allowing yourself this freedom is a political act in itself!  All the best with your journey. I look forward to your voice in this community.

In sisterhood,

Tam
