My soul is a shuffling sweet ole nan, and she has a message for us today

I have a confession to make, I don't listen to my soul sometimes, I ignore the cues sometimes, and I pay the price EVERY DAMN TIME. And does it stop me from making the same mistake over and over and over - well I would like to say yes, but the answer is I still don't listen sometimes.

Sometimes I let the world get too busy, sometimes I trample over the space and peace that I have created and dive back into hustle. Sometimes I am firing on only half of my cylinders and I cannot hear my soul, I cannot tap into the flow of energetics, my mind and my actions become clunky and muddled. And sometimes instead of THAT FEELING being the clue for me to remember to listen to my soul I instead fall back on the old habits of caffeine, food, hustle to get me through - to just get this thing finished.

And it works, I mean it worked for ever before...but good decisions, CEO decisions, wise decisions, are not made from this place.  Over and over again I get to experience the lesson that less is more. And it will likely always be a challenge, because I love the DOING, I love the solid actions, the pride of doing till its done cause that's what winners do. And even though my sweet old soul nana is saying \"how about we go outside\" I push through and I ride rough shod over all that I know to be true about energetics. 

There is so much to energetics, so much that you are meant to 'remember' that is already inside of you, so much that you can tap into and use, and yet it is so simple. But simple does not mean easy, in fact it is far from it, it is often the simple things that are hardest for us to fully grasp because we like to make things complicated, we like to break our own rules and make expectations and we like to think that we are clever than soul - but we are not.

Our souls are our true essence, and we think 'we' are cleverer, and what that really is, is our brain, or our intellect telling our soul that it has no idea what it is talking about it.

Our brains treat our wise old souls like a silly rambling nana that has no real grip on reality. We nod politely to her and say yes yes of course, but our body language our vibes, our slightly impatient tone and the fidgeting, they are subtle clues that are not lost on her.

But she can do nothing in the face of such impatient foolery and so she sighs and shuffles away, and knows that one day you wake up, when the pain gets bad enough, you will be back, in floods of tears, and grand raging stories of why it is all so unfair. And you will wail, and fling your accusations about, and bring your big energy to this big event that could have been prevented.

You will expend energy on something that yet again takes you away from what you are really here to do. Although you will at least have time to pause and maybe get a glimmer of the truth when you are spent after all that energetic release and floods of tears, maybe you will be 'still' enough, 'quiet' enough to let your old souls words land. Maybe you will let your souls shuffling old sweet nana energy take you by the hand and help you to slow your sobs and your wild energy enough to hear the ONE LINE of wise words that she had for you right at the beginning.

In order to make the best business decisions we need to tap into the wisdom of soul.

We need space and quiet in order to hear our souls.

And to get the space and quiet we need to structure our businesses to ALLOW that level of freedom.

Soul + Freedom = The best business and hell yes life possible.
