I Stand With Her

The increasing rate of   Violence  against  Women in today’s society is alarming and I admire any women out there who  doesn’t let what they are passing through  get them down. Seriously violence against women  is all around us. It’s pervasive and rooted in patriarchal beliefs, power and control. In my experience,  I believe that being yourself  in regardless of any circumstances and feeling happy as yourself- just the way you are signifies the word "COURAGE"

Who is a Woman?

A Woman has the most unique character like salt! Her presence is never remembered, but her absence makes all the things tasteless.

When  she is quiet, millions of things are running through her mind. When she stares at you, she is wondering why she loves you so

much in spite of being taken for granted. When she says I will stand by you, she will stand by you like a solid rock. Never hurt her or take her for granted.

A very heart touching message by a woman. Someone asked her, Are you a working woman or a housewife? She replied: Yes, I am a full-time working housewife. I work 24 hours a day. I'm a Mum. I'm a Wife. I'm a Daughter. I'm a Daughter- in-law. I'm an Alarm clock. I'm a Cook. I'm a Maid. I'm a Teacher. I'm a Waitress. I'm a Nanny. I'm a Nurse. I'm a Handywoman. I'm a Security officer. I'm a Counsellor. I'm a Comforter. I don't get holidays. I don't get sick leave. I don't get day off. I work through day and night. I'm on call all hours and get paid with a sentence."What Do U Do All Day??" Women out there! Despite all odds:

 *GREATNESS IS IN YOU*

*The only determinant of your success is YOU*

It takes  *YOU* to take action

It takes *YOU* to take responsibilities

It takes *YOU* to invest in your self-education

It takes *YOU* to not listen to dream killers

It takes *YOU* to take action NOW, and never give-up.

*SOAR Higher!*

There's greatness in *YOU!*

Hello Dear Mojisola,

How are you doing, dear? Thanks for sharing your lovely photo and wise words. I quite agree that we determine our success, and that no one else does. We can't depend on others to create it.

Hope you're doing well, and having a good weekend, dear?

I LOVE this line... "A Woman has the most unique character like salt! Her presence is never remembered, but her absence makes all the things tasteless." Heartbreaking and beautiful.

Hello Mojisola,

I’m in ! Every woman depends only to her to make the decision and to be who ever she wants to be ! That’s the way of success.

Thank you for sharing this reminder about the greatness of a WOMAN.

Hello, Mojisola,

This is such an empowering post. I love how that woman defines herself as a full-time working housewife. There's dignity there. Too often women who stay at home are devalued as not "working. I could attest it is the hardest "job" in the world.

Thank you for sharing this with us!

Hello Mojisola, well said and thanks for sharing. YES the power is in you and in us as women to stand up and shout from our lungs and say "enough is enough" lets take control of our own lives, if we cant, no one will which means we will forever under heat, in the kitchen :)
