Stand close to Liberation War Women of Bangladesh:

The present Prime Minister Shekh Hasina of Bangladesh is set off much modernized and benefited lawful steps overall for all citizen and for women in particular to which were not given appropriate importance by the previous government of the country. So far I understood H.E. Shekh Hasina as the committed women leader has been carrying in mind few deepest sorrows specifically with becoming conscious about women’s overall status and causes of sufferings since a long and accordingly determined to be in motion frontward for bringing total changes of women’s condition of Bangladesh. During the latest poll election, majority women voters of the country have caste their votes in favour of Awami League where SK. Hasina is the President to oblige her to power once again.

H. E. knows well about the participation and contribution of women in the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971 parallel to men. In Liberation War, men were participated in front line with arms against Pakistani army and their collaborators while women participated with arms as well as with their body weapons by two ways. There were hundreds of thousands women participated in the Liberation War of Bangladesh by using their body weapons against Pakistani army and their collaborators (Rajakar, Albodar, Alshams) of the than East Pakistan. Besides the brutal killing of women, those women had been raped continuously in the torture camp of Pakistani army and their local collaborators throughout the total 09 month war period. The Liberation War Women (mothers) of Bangladesh were given birth later huge numbers of war child but the nation unfortunately does not aware whereabouts of those war children at present.

After the liberation war, the nation has honored those women by a declaration in Bangla word BERANGANA (Heroic Women) and regretfully they were thoroughly overlooked later. Moreover the women mostly became treated as the most hateful beings socially as raped women by Pakistani army and their associates instead of awarding them for their contribution. Almost all of them who are yet alive passing the day with extreme poverty, physical diseases, painful social behaviors and agony etc in the country. It’s an unbearable shame of the nation that yet awaiting to pay off the debt of those women participated in the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971.

The women fighters who participated with arms in the war field, government of Bangladesh has enlisted them as women freedom fighter while those hundreds of thousands women were not, they only been treated with separate identity BERANGANA (Heroic Women). Why??? And why they would not be eligible to enlist themselves as women freedom fighter, and why they would not get the honorary facilities of the country as get freedom fighters of Bangladesh, and why they would find manners from the society in a dishonored way, and why they would be crying shamefully until the day, and why they would not get justice of their rapist war criminal Pakistani army and their local collaborators (Rajakar, Al-Badar, Alshams) of the then East Pakistan?

Up-coming 16th December is the Victory Day of liberation war of Bangladesh. I humbly invite friends of one world to stand besides those contributory deprived women in order to achieve their legitimated recognition from the Government as Women Freedom Fighter (WFF) as well as to obtain the opportunities as freedom fighter of Bangladesh.
