The world I have dreamed of (a poem)

Me giving a speech about child laborers
As a member of Afghan Peace Volunteers, I help to promote the rights of women and children in Afghan society. In this photo, I am giving a speech about child laborers for Afghan Peace Volunteers.

Let it be the world,

The world I have dreamed of

A green and peaceful world where everyone is equal, where everyone is free

In that world, I want to be a girl full of courage and enthusiasm

I want to ride my bike to school and, in the streets,

And have all the same rights as my brother

Every mother will be happy and proud to give birth to a baby girl

Every woman will work with special energy

Everyone will see a big change in the world

Every woman will be as happy and free as the birds in the sky

Every woman will get their rights

If you want to see a big change in the world, give us our rights

The beauty of your poem for me is the simplicity. Every sentence and thought is direct and compassionate. Your soul comes through in each thought. It is a peaceful poem in itself with a tender special soul. Thank you. You are very talented.
