Congratulations to all of you, the Voices of Our Future!

Hello to each and every one of you dear ladies,

We have made the difficult decision of selecting the three Correspondents who will represent you all on a speaking tour through the United States next Fall. Through the agonizing, weeks-long selection process, our goal was first and foremost to select a diverse group of women who can represent the broad range of voices that are the Voices of Our Future. We are proud to announce that Sunita, Malayapinas and Jackie have been chosen to speak on behalf of all of our VOF correspondents, the PulseWire members and their communities to the media and politicians as they raise awareness of the issues and concerns that face women every day.

As with each assignment in this program, they will continue to need your support, encouragement and nurturing words along the way. Only together have we been able to get this far! As we embark on this next phase of our journey, let us continue to offer our eyes, ears, hearts, minds and souls to each other. Let us continue to shake the world!

To all of you, we offer our deepest respect, love and gratitude. Each of you deserves formal recognition for the hard work you've put in. The selection of three in no way reflects a lack of power or ability in your work as journalists, or as leading women. You all possess the knowledge, skills and attitudes to have a profound impact on our world! We have provided you with some fuel for your fires, a vase for your flowers, a strand on which to string your jewels. You are powerful women, with vision and courage to spare, and will continue to transform the world!

Your participation over these past months has been remarkable to witness. Your growth as writers, and as empowered leaders has proven to me that no challenge is insurmountable. The obstacles of intermittent electricity, unreliable internet access, job and family obligations, living in conflict zones or with repressive governments, having near-death illnesses...these seem to have been mere speed-bumps along the journey! You all have demonstrated the power of a woman inspired. I am honored that you have shared your voices and visions so freely with the world.

From around the world we've heard stories that inspire, shock, and raise consciousness. As we move ahead, you are invited to continue shining light into the dark corners of our world. As our first graduates of this training program, you are new leaders-- both in your local community, and in the PulseWire community. We will continue to offer our support, new trainings, and creative opportunities. By the end of the year you will receive more information about this next phase, but rest assured, there is a permanent place for you on PulseWire, and in all of our hearts.

It is my deepest wish that we can all continue to exchange our perspectives, our struggles, our solutions. You have shown the world something new, and we are all eager for more! The shift toward valuing women grows stronger every day. Thank you for all of your spirited work in moving us toward a brighter future.

To bring some closure to this part of the program, I invite your comments, questions, and feedback good or bad. We have learned a lot, and your voices are integral to planning a better program next year. Soon I will contact you with a survey to help collect your input. But, for now we invite you to share your thoughts and feelings with this PulseWire group. I cannot over-state how grateful I am to each and every one of you. Working with each of you has brought new meaning to my life, and I hope we can build stronger connections and friendships as we continue our partnership with World Pulse.
