Welcome to the Listeners Group!

Warm greetings, everyone!

My name is Scott Beck, and I'm the Voices of Our Future program coordinator. Along with Emily and Rachael, we will be working closely together over the next few months. It is so exciting to see this group gathering together for the upcoming application! There are many new faces here, alongside some past volunteers, and even past VOF Correspondents. As with the applicants, we come from all over the world, with different backgrounds and experiences. Together, as Listeners, we will play a key role in helping review and select the next group of grassroots women leaders to go through the program.

The purpose of this group is to serve as a central place for exchanging program-related stories, best practices and challenges. Also, the VOF program team will use this group to share information and important updates. You can post your questions here, or share what excites you most about this opportunity. This is your group, so feel encouraged to step up and make your voice heard. If you've volunteered in the past, share your experiences with the group. If you're new to PulseWire, tell us a bit about what drew you in to the program.

Before the program starts in September, you have a few weeks to become more familiar with PulseWire, with your fellow listeners, and to connect with the applicants. You can visit the applicants in their group here: http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups/37925 In just two weeks we already have more than 230 change leaders signed up, eager to start the process! We expect this number to keep growing and growing until the kick off on September 6th.

Thank you so much for your spirit of service and generosity that brought you here for this exciting adventure. I am delighted to have this opportunity to work with you, and look forward to getting to know you more!

In partnership,
Scott (mrbeckbeck)
