Scholarship Opportunity: Reuters course in multimedia journalism (Deadline May 4)

Hi Everyone,
I found this exciting opportunity on the International Journalists Network (ijnet.org) and wanted to share with you all!

Journalists worldwide with at least two years' experience can apply to attend a course in London.

TrustMedia, a Thomson Reuters Foundation Service, offers a five-day course in multimedia journalism.

Sessions include photography, filming, storyboarding, video editing, and pitching multimedia stories as well as theoretical discussions on the importance and significance of multimedia journalism.

Journalists from developing countries with no training resources are eligible for full scholarships, including travel expenses, accommodation and a modest stipend. Journalists from developing countries with limited training resources are eligible for partial scholarships, which covers course tuition costs.

Journalists not from developing counties can still apply for the course, but must pay all tuition, accommodation and travel fees.

Submit a brief bio, two work samples and an essay explaining why multimedia skills will help your career by May 4.

Best wishes,
Scott
