It is great to see your thoughts and reflections being shared in the group here. Thank you Bea for kicking off that conversation. I can understand that you might be feeling frustrated or a like you're not contributing sometimes. But, this is just a learning opportunity really. We're trying to do something pretty remarkable, and the fact that 100 women have signed up for accounts in this community speaks the the power of our efforts. As Neema said in the call last week, the next step is to have these women write their stories and get their voices out the the world.
So, thank you to those of you who have begun the process of working on translations. There are many, many more pieces in the queue to be converted to English, and I know it's not nearly as exciting as working one-on-one with a Campaign Liaison, but this is the most important job to be done right now. If you need some more direction on this work, just reach out to let me know...I'm happy to help!
Tomorrow we launch the Global EVAW Digital Action Campaign, so keep an eye on your inbox for that message. You'll see that we have some great videos from women journalists in the DRC to go along with all of the writing content that you've been a part of. Never doubt that you're helping to build a movement here!
Thank you again for your patience and hard-work to make this pilot program come together!
In partnership, Scott
