MANUAL OR ELECTRONIC VOTING

Electronic voting is not in Kenya and this year's general elections is no exception.

According to the IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando, complimentary method can be another method other than the primary method.

Speaking to political journalists at a retreat in Naivasha during the weekend, Msando urged journalists to report accurately on election processes saying that its the voter registration, identification and result transmission that is electronic. He said that technology works well but in the case of 2013 general election, what failed was the people and the processes.

He assures Kenyans that the commission is well prepared for this year's general elections and nothing will fail.
