Let's reach them
Many kids are on the streets....they need our help

Sleeping by road side: Who can help them to change their lives? If we don't give what we can offer, the kids will be back to the streets (1/2)

Like this morning, I went to to New Life NGO office to re- Introduce WP. I got rained on, they work hard to support street women, beggars and street kids. The founder is a woman and the director is a young blind girl. I told them about WP, because they need a lot of support. Cars are rotten and parked, they pend one of the training center, because they have no fund. I explained to join WP, to post their need...but they are sitting there. I had to go and beg them to sign up. I gave one hour and half lecture and left their office very hungry. Ughhhhhhh!

If they signed up and join, if they post their needs, or if they had been checking the offer pages, they could have solved their problems.

This NGO helps paying school fees for the street kids, their camp has been demolished so they pay rent. They have to stop them from begging. They want pencils, books, copy books, they go to a very cheap school, they don't get computers.

Please, let us stretch out our hands to them. This young blind girl is working with young volunteers. But they don't have any money to give her.

We have to do crowd sourcing.

Lily, thank you so much for passionately spreading the word about World Pulse, and for doing your best to lift up those around you who are in need. Sometimes, we have to plant many seeds to get a flower and if that is the case in your efforts, I hope your patient outreach will ultimately result in flourishing blossoms. Starting small is often the way to conquering bigger challenges -- perhaps if a few notebooks and pencils can be collected it will inspire confidence that more can be done. Keep working, stay connected to your sisters and community, and know that your continued efforts will surely pay dividends in the end, even if the seed you've planted takes time to grow into a beautiful flower!

Julie,

Thank you so much for your encouragement. What I see is, my people are different...sort of. Once I get info, I've to check it out, grab the opportunities or leave it if it's something useless.

Out of hundreds of people I introduced Wp, I don't know how many of them are active or became a member.

I'll do my best, I'm introducing WP for girls or women who suit next to me on a bus or in a cafe. May be, I'll never meet these women or girls again, but I'll keep speaking about WP.

Dear Lily,

Thank you for sharing your initiation to organization working for street children. Hope they can be part of WP and getting benefited from the like minded organization/sisters or coordination.

Best wishes, anjana

Don't get discouraged. Sometimes, it takes more than one meeting to get the message through.

You may want to navigate the website with them at least one time.
