Trauma of Teenage Mothers in Eastern DRC

Here in eastern DRC there are many single mothers who do not know what to do. There are those who were violated because of certain circumstances. It is imprtant to frame the teenage mothers situation because it is a population traumatised given its position in society. That is our target and it is justified by the importance of that topic - it allows us to analyze and propose solutions to the problems facing this population.

The Objective

Reduce the rate analphabetisme, reduce promiscuity, allow unwed mothers to integrate into the social life like other girls loyal to the community, as do technical work to improve their living conditions. It's all in the context of education, training and communication for self-management of this population of girls mother in the DRC.

I thanks NEEMA that connected me to send a message to all my friends

May the Lord bless you all!

Dear ASOKA MUMBALIMA Emilie,

I am learning so much through reading yours and other stories on World Pulse. Thank you for posting your story of unwed teenage mothers, and their need to be included in the community and able to work to feed their children. I will be writing our United States State Department and the United Nations to bring more attention to the plight of women and children in Eastern Congo.

Dear Mumbalima,

Thank you for sharing this problem and your solutions. The same way that Neema encouraged and inspired you to tell your story is the same way your voice can reach out to inspire and change the lives of the teenage mothers you are talking about.

As we speak up and keep sharing, we can make a difference. Thank you
