Breaking The Bonds of VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

There is no need to complicate the language of my message. I cannot petition my cause through fancy words that the woman that i seek to help cannot understand. I want my message to be as clear as day and as piercing as the knives, axes and hoes that have stabbed many a woman to death in her own home. I speak against domestic violence, against all forms of violence perpertrated against women in Africa, in the entire world. I fear for my mother, my sister, my daughter who will trust a man with her heart and end up with her life in his hands. I speak against economic abuse, my siter who cannot go to work because she is forced to stay at home and hide her husband's weakness which she carries stamped in her face. The woman who is starving and living without the basic needs for her and her children because she is being punished or downtrodden by her family, her partner, her country. I speak against politically motivated rapes, against the violation of all violations.

All nations should refuse to tolerate crimes against women. we dont want them to speculate, to address it over and over in poshy settings whilst women die, whilst famillies are torn apart and our sexuality is politicised. WE WANT THEM TO STOP. Enforce the laws that protect women, sensitize the world for we are the world itself. No woman can fully participate in the development of her country or of her own life, under the oppression and fear of violence. Please help us.
