Covid-19 to Hunger

Dears sisters,

Hope you are well keeping despite the desolation of the Covid-19.

Coronavirus led to lockdown, lockdown led to closure of many lucrative activities. Yet numerous congolese men were jobless before the pandemic. 

Women thus happened to initiate some income generating activities.

From these daily activities, Women found food for families.

The coronavirus came to stop women from daily activities and therefore stop food for families, leading thousands family to remain hungry.

Children do not understand this!!

Some members of my association FEUPAS Grands Lacs happened to grow some vegetables and maises.

Today we are happy to harvest (see the picture). 

We decide to grow more in order to fight the hunger in our families.
