NOTRE ASSOCIATION:FEMME ET ENFANT EN DANGER " F.E.D"

 F.E.D est une association sans but lucratif située à l’EST de la RDC au sud Kivu précisément dans la commune de kadutu elle composée des femmes et filles dont les parents ont manqué les
moyens financiers pour les faire scolarisées et qui mena travaillent revendiquer leurs droits féminins à travers le programme world pulse , lutter contre la chaumage en faisant de petit commerce, l’artisanat la formation en informatique et en coupe couture et plusieurs autres activités dont le détail est reprit dans la marge ;
 Petit commerce
Le moyen pour faire le petit commerce est trouvé en faisant une cotisation rotative de 700Fc pour chaque membre par semaine que nous donnions à deux membres chacune selon ses besoins.
Cette cotisation a fait à ce que tous les membres de FED aient chacun son capital de démarrage.
Difficulté rencontrée
1° Notre capital est trop bas pour faire nourrir et scolariser les enfants ;
2° Nous n’avons pas où faire le commerce :nous faisons le rodage.
 Artisanat
Nous faisons la fabrication de sac appelé kikapo à l’aide des fils bougies, pour trouver les matériels nous faisons une cotisation de 100Fc pour chaque membre
Difficulté : Nous n’avons pas de marché.
 Information en informatique
Pour la formation en informatique des membres de FED, nous remercions beaucoup le centre Maman shujaa pour tout ce qu’il est entrain de faire pour notre faveur. Beaucoup de nous n’avait pas encore vu même un ordinateur, ne savait ni l’écran, le clavier mais aujourd’hui nous sommes déjà à mesure de travailler à l’ordinateur, de porter des modifications de texte voir même accéder à l’inter net et y accoster un journal. Nous n’aurons pas à nous taire car la formation que je suis entrain de recevoir ici me rends vraiment utile et me donne beaucoup des connaissances ;
Difficulté
• Le centre de formation Maman shujaa est très loin de la maison, je quitte la maison à 8heures pour arriver au centre à 10heures
• Nous revenons du centre trop fatiguée par manque des frais de transport
• Nous ne connaissons pas l’anglais

Suggestion
 au centre Maman shujaa, de voir comment créer d’autres centres qui approchent les coins où nous venons
 beaucoup d’autres femmes et filles désirent faire cette formation mais sont déçues par la distance
Nous espérons que l’année prochaine nous aurons un centre si proche pour aider aux autres d’accéder à la formation et de faire entendre leurs voix dans le monde.

OUR ASSOCIATION: WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN DANGER "F.E.D."

-F.E.D. (Femme et Enfant en Danger) is a nonprofit organization located in the east of the DRC in South Kivu, in the Kadutu precisely. It consists of women and girls whose parents lacked the financial means to educate them, but are now working to claim their rights as women through the world pulse program by fighting against unemployment through small businesses, crafts, computer training, dressmaking and many other activities whose details are resumed in the margins.

-Small Businesses
The funds supporting small businesses come from a rotating contribution of 700Fc from each member each week, which we give to two members depending on their needs. This contribution has allowed every member of F.E.D. to have her startup capitol. The challenges are one, our capital is too low to feed and educate the children; and two, we have no where to trade : we are running in circles.

-Craft
We manufacture bags called kikapo with the help of fils bougies. In order to find the materials we make a contribution of 100FC for each member. The challenge: we do not have a market.

-Information Technology Training
We thank the Maman Shujaa Center for the computer training it provides to memebers of the F.E.D. members and everything it is doing in our favor. Many of us had not even seen a computer before, we did not know about the screen or the keyboard, but today we are already able to work on the computer, type text and even access the internet and view a newspaper. We won’t have to keep quiet because the training I am gaining here is making me very useful and gives me a lot of knowledge.
Challenges:
• The Maman Shujaa training center is very far from home, I leave home at 8 am to arrive at the center at 10 am.
• We return from the center too tired because we have no way of paying for the cost of transportation
• We do not know English

A suggestion to the Maman Shujaa Center is to look into how to create other centers near where we live. Many other women and girls want to do the training but are disappointed by the distance. We hope that we will have a center that is much closer next year, to help others have access to training and to make their voices heard in the world.
