Educate, Empower, Equip and Mentor Girls & Women

<

p>I am Ghanaian passionate about girls and women empowerment. I have a great family that supports my passion. Our community is full underprivileged school drops outs, and women who needs to be empowered and equipped. The biggest challenge is teenagers been pushed into child marriages due to lack of education, empowerment and poverty. Single mothers and headpotters. Most of these women are jobless and have no money as to care for themselves and family. Some have know formal education and down with poverty. In order to achieve sustainable development goals at both local and global level, we need to invest in a tailored interventions for girls and women that are designed to educate, Equip and empower them. Our interventions are designed to walk the journey with these women and open up new opportunities for themselves, their families and communities. With little or no support and I my team have been taking selectsd girls and women through our entrepreneurship programme, where we Mentor them, give them hands on intensive practical training in fashion designing, accessories making, beads work, tie and dye making, business management . I will continue with educating and training these women in our entrepreneurship programme and also walk through the journey with them. Teenage girls been pushed into child marriages, single mothers, underprivileged school drops , these are the people i am supporting with our actions. We recently received support from Vodafone Ghana Foundation during our entrepreneurship programme for the inmates of the Osu juvenile correctional Centre. We need sewing machines, wax prints, Calico, tie and dye Colours, Fashion Accessories making tools And financial support to aid these women to start up once they complete the training. I need leadership development skills, empowerment and entrepreneurship skills. I am passion, Committed, determined and very focused to help girls and women be self sustainable. Yes women are not slaves and girls are children not bride. Let's support our girls to develop, be educated to live life to the fullest. Help reduce the ever increasing rate of youth unemployment and poverty among women. Help stop early child marriages in our communities and Ghana as a whole. Help these women to be economically independent. Thank you
