Speaking through Trauma

This painting is a depiction of all those mummified thoughts which could have changed the world. As Albert Camus says life is a sum of the decisions we make, I feel not all women even today are entitled to making decisions. The painting has a woman, whose head has innumerable ideas, thoughts which if heard or understood have the power to nurture, heal, change and even build.

Very creative, once again. It reminds me of a women's mental health campaign "to write love on her arms". Thank you for standing in solidarity with those who've experienced trauma through your art.

Hi Nabeela,

Welcome to World Pulse and hearty congratulations on your first post!

Your painting is beautiful! I love the inscriptions on the whole face and body. To me, it depicts a strong woman who never runs out of ideas like you mentioned and is able to multitask far beyond the barriers we currently face. Pity all the ideas get mummified though. Hence, we must not be silent. We must continue to raise our voices. Together, we can!

Love and hugs,
E. J.

Sending Love,
Yes together we can.Taking pride in being a womxn, a womxn as described by her/she and not the society.

Hello, again Nabeela,

Wow! Thanks for shedding light by explaining what this painting means. I agree with you, "The painting has a woman, whose head has innumerable ideas, thoughts which if heard or understood have the power to nurture, heal, change and even build. "

This is why having encouragers in life is vital. We need these ideas flesh out!
