My first story

My first story
Holy river Ganga

I have written some article in my local language, as writing publicly first time in English, in my childhood I never thought to become a journalist but an incident happen in my life given me a thought to become journalist. I have seen 14 people killed by mob in front of my house, I was not able to do anything, was watching television but the news telecasting by some channel was not proper and half information was missing.

Yes, at that time I was only 20 years old, I lost my mother when I was 7 years old, was staying with my dad, he was so supportive, its remind me when I was in my teen age my dad use to purchase books in second prize because I love reading, he was keeping all the good stories in news paper for me to share. I tried writing when I was in 12. After my mom passed away I was so alone, no body was with me to share anything, I was waiting for her for longtime, people told me that she will never come. And after sometime I became so silent, hardly I was talking to anyone, only answering the questions asked, I was so blank inside. But, nice inspirational stories helped me to go ahead. I was reading love stories, innovative stories and people's struggle. I never thought to become journalist but I tried writing, I do not why, but I was looking to the sky and trying to write something. related to fly and open sky and wish and so many things...

In my young age, opportunities came I grave and keep moving, life is just giving not asking anything, it is beautiful. I am just sharing what inspire me to become journalist, may be writer is my inner lonely feeling, when I write I feel that I am talking to someone, who is listening very carefully. I love to share but as usual very less people I found who listen to me.I always keep myself busy in work, keep my mind busy. but, always want some one who can listen me carefully. I think I found a good space to share my thoughts with all of you. Thank you for giving me a platform, thank you for giving me a friends, love to all...

My dear sister
You are most welcome to this great platform. And we are glad you took the bold step to start writing. I can tell you from my experience you will never be the same again. I know what you went through because I lost my dad at 17 and I used to keep a diary where I would write to him every day. It made me stronger as a person and I always felt he was there with me. So my sister don't stop writing don't stop sharing your experiences. We are here for you and we are here to listen to your wonderful stories.
Looking forward to hearing more of your stories.
Forever in sisterhood

Welcome to World Pulse, Naheda!

I'm sorry that you loss your mother in such a young age. I am glad you found solace in writing.

I could identify with you on your desire to write. As a child, we were not allowed to express our opinions and thoughts so I turned to writing to release the supressed feelings.

I am glad you found a job that fits your passion. Please write more of your stories. We want to get to know more about you, your culture and your dreams.

Thank you for sharing!

Dear Naheda,
I am so sorry that you lost your mother at such a young age. I was touched at the ways that your father has done what he could to bring books and articles to you. I can see the writer in you so clearly, as you have that ability to write from your heart. Here in WorldPulse we all have such an opportunity to write and to support each other. However you found WorldPulse I hope you feel "home". I look forward to reading more from you.

Hello, Naheda,
Your first story. Wow! You are amazing. Your words are deep and I am proud to have read them. It seems like all your experiences have brought you to the place where you have so much depth and value to help others.
Please keep writing and telling people everywhere your experiences and especially your attitude of coping about your life. It is as if your soul opened up as you were being prepared to be the person you have become. Thank you.

How wonderful that you are a new member of our fabulous WP global family. Writing is such a gorgeous way to get in touch with what we feel and think and then can be a blessing to others when you share your writing. So keep it up; your voice matters. You matter.
Your Dad sound like such a wonderful man! It makes me sad you lost your mom so early in life but thankfully I believe her spirit is with you always guiding you and protecting you.

Nehda,
THis story reminds me my Mom, she lost her Mom when she was 13 and She was given to a Husband(My Dad) when she was 16. My Mom used to say many times, "If Mom was there....I could finish my education and be an Engineer, or...like my friends."
The loss of a mother is not an easy thing. Our Mothers are our world. For me, She was my everything. She was my KG teacher in our sitting room, She was my Mentor to read, write, designing, embroidering, dress making, cooking...etc.
When people think women are small, I just don't get it.
My Mom gone 13 years ago. I still feel it.

Good to meet you here. We have got sisters, mothers and grandmothers here, who really love and care for us.

Above all, they feel our pain.

Hug from Ethiopia

Lily
