I was born in Washington, D.C. (USA) to American parents and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. I am an occupational therapist by profession. I also have a degree in Educational Psychology. My passions include writing and sharing my writings with others. I also enjoy engaging with the public including interviewing my fellow human persons. For nearly eight years, I served as the Public Relations Chair for Maryland Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA) while simultaneously working as a clinician and for nearly two years, served as one of a few treating therapists on a Patient Advocates Team alongside the hospital's CEO, DOR, DON, Director of Nutrition, etc. In 2017 & 2018, much of my time was voluntarily spent with refugees in Germany. Further, I have been actively researching PhD programs in Psychology/Sociology in Europe and in the US with a plan of doing research on Muslim marriage. Study of the Arabic language and further study of the German language are also my goals.
My vision is that all human beings will live cohesively in justice and in peace wherever they are in the world.
