I was born in Washington, D.C. (USA) to American parents and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. I am an occupational therapist by profession. I also have a degree in Educational Psychology. My passions include writing and sharing my writings with others. I also enjoy engaging with the public including interviewing my fellow human persons. For nearly eight years, I served as the Public Relations Chair for Maryland Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA) while simultaneously working as a clinician. Six out of seven days a week, I spend a few hours of my day with refugees; something I enjoy very much. Two goals of mine are to pursue a Ph.D. and do research on marriage and family; also to be fluent in Arabic and German, my two most favorite languages.
My vision is that all human beings will live cohesively in justice and in peace wherever they are in the world.
