I highly regardthe directorAsghar Farhadi'sdecision to not attend this year's Oscars particularly given his movie "A Separation"won an Oscar in 2011and his directing ability has gained him great respect in the industry. A lot is at stake yet he is taking a moral stance. He is peacefully protesting in a powerful way.
I also appreciate that Mr. Farhadi's statements concerning the dangers and injustice of Trump's banareinclusive of all impacted by the ban. Hats off to him!
