Thanks for sharing. This is great to read about her perspective, and about how it's not holding her back.
Hope you have a good week.
My pleasure. I also find what she shared to be great. I who practice this aspect of my faith was not surprised to read that it does not hold her back. If one takes a moment and really thinks about it, really thinks about it, it makes sense that it should not hold the one who observes this practice back. When we do something for God, we are never held back. In fact, we are always assisted in a forward direction or advanced. And whatever negative consequences we may have to endure in this life for adhering to or for following God's ways which always benefit humanity instead of man's ways, which may or may not benefit humanity, or choosing to make God our most important or our primary authority in our lives, we will be rewarded by God in this life and very likely, more so in the life to come, the eternal life. Imam Asi reminded us in one of his Friday Khutbahs/Sermons that, "We don't live for this life. We live for the Akirah (the life to come)."
Many thanks, and hope you have a good week too.
I'm not religious, but I can respect what you're saying.
