Thank you for changing me to change lives, World Pulse!

The first ever Rescue Women Girls Scholarship for secondary school girls goes real in Bai Kuke this academic year. Launching of this baby initiative of mine will come up in August 2014.

Remember, sometimes last year I promised saving up a little amount of my salary to enable me pay school fees of a few poor and needy girls in Bai Kuke. God has made that dream to come true. I am so excited.

My idea was that, when I was in secondary school, I hardly ever had a text book. But the fact that I could pay fees kept me in school until I graduated from high school. Dodging away from fee drive, even in the absence of text books can make a bright student achieve greater heights in education. On the contrary, continuous fee drive, can send a student completely out of school, he/she will become a drop out, and girls will most definitely become child brides and child mothers; causing promising girls to loss their bright futures.

I intended to do this all by myself, but by the Grace of God, kind-hearted Cameroonians dropped in.

It is on this note that I want to thank two Cameroonians living abroad, Cameroonians who have no affiliation with Bai kuke -- these two Cameroonians have pledged a school fee contribution of up to $250. Words are not enough to say \"Thank you\" guys. They say charity begins at home, let's do by ourselves before we seek help from out of home. Yes, we can do it. These two amazing people saw my World Pulse post through the web and they pledged their support online. Many more people are coming in, thanks to the facebook post I made yesterday.

I now believe the super power of the web; I believe it actually make things happen.

I also would thank World Pulse for planting in me the idea of \"Solutions Oriented\" thoughts. If I could think of this, it was because I took a six months online course on Citizen Journalism and Digital Empowerment, offered by World Pulse. And in that training, the watch word was for us to be \"Solutions Oriented.\" Missing that training would have been missing out on putting a smile on the faces of those who have not known it.

Sponsors, like my two Cameroonian friends, will be made public on the day of the launching. Such sponsors are setting the pace in Bai Kuke. I am not a native of Bai Kuke, but I think it is my first home.

2014 is a year of greater ambitions...greater everything.
