Beneficiary #4 of the Rescue Women Girls Scholarship

I will say that "Out of the excitement of the heart comes an honest smile."

Meline Ekpe Misode originates from Ndiba, Ngolo. she could not hide her excitement when she heard she was part of the scholarship. She and her elder sister told me that their father died about 7 years ago, and mother also died 6 years ago. Ever since the death of their parents, the responsibility of their upbringing lies in the hands of an uncle who is also not finding it easy to take care of them.

Last year, Misode was in form three, but up till now, she doesn't know whether she passed to form four because her final term report card has not been given--she is still owing fees for last year. Meline says education has not been easy for her especially with the constant fee drive, and the mild asthma that she has.

A look at Misode gave me hope. Her smiles alone kept me strong and alive. Her friendliness and level of sociability told me she is going to be a woman at the forefront.

Misode's hopes are today alive, because she is sure to attend school freely without any fee drive next year. I am proud of her.

Please, smile back at Misode!
