I Nominate Regina Young Afanwi



Regina Young has a burning desire  and is taking massive action to economically empower women and girls with disabilities and any form of vulnerability as a tool to completely eliminate gender based violence. She strongly believes in \" No one should be left behind\". That is why she has specialized in Sign Language interpretation so the most Vulnerable category of women with disabilities ,that is women with hearing impairment can be included, head and seen. 
   As an encourager she has a unique way of lifting up women prove being the number of women who turn to her for advice, support and encouragement.
Her love for collaboration is very evident at the grassroots level and international partners. She values involving other World Pulse sister in her activities to strengthen the sisterhood bond and make it known by other community members.
   Regina can connect with anyone  no matter the tribe or race as long as the connection will yield fruits not only for her  but more especially the people she works for. 
 She has an initiative as a featured change maker where she teaches women with disabilities to use technology to enhance their businesses. Limited resources has made the work difficult but had not been a hindrance to attaining her goals.
 Above all She has made her heart a home for all especially persons with disabilities and anyone in need. She never walks pass anyone in pains without seeing how she can help her even when she is pressed with work load .
Her home has become a place for everyone in need of peace and help. The challenges she has been going through lately has not changed this burning desire in her as she strongly believes in making the World a better place for everyone. More details about Regina can be found here
