LUTTE POUR LA PROMOTION DE LA FEMME CONGOLAISE AU SUD-KIVU

Par rapport à la lutte pour la promotion des femmes congolaise et plus particulièrement au sud-kivu, la femme a connue des promotions dans différents aspects :
1. Sur le plan intellectuel, plusieurs ont accéder dans des postes politiques, administratif, militaire et même religieux.
Au cours de cette semaine 6 femmes leaders du sud-kivu ont eu une promotion :
4 femmes nommées ministres provinciaux et 2 autres au Gouvernorat de Province.
2. Sur le plan socioéconomique, la femme intervient dans la gestion des biens publics et privée sans contrainte. EX : la société civile du Sud-Kivu est présidée par une femme.
-La femme rurale sensibilisée est devenue leader, elle accède à la prise de décision dans la communauté, dans sa famille, peu gérer une activité génératrice de revenue cas précis des nos bénéficiaires Pygmées et Bantous dans le Territoire de kalehe dans un projet d’appui psychosocial et réintégration aux peuples Autochtones (Batwa).
3. Sur le plan culturel :
Plusieurs femmes ont eu droit à l’héritage, être doter et faire le mariage civile auprès de l’état-civil qui n’existait pas mais après plusieurs sensibilisations et plaidoyer auprès des autorités locales cela a été acceptable et faisable.
Moi , Thérèse NDIRIRA qui vous parle, je suis le fruit de cette promotion de la femme au sud-kivu avec un grand témoignage que je vais publier prochainement. De comment j’ai commencé ce travail qui me lie avec vous aujourd’hui après la mort subite de mon mari. Avoir tiré plus de 200 femmes Pygmées dans la vie de marginalisation à l épanouissement, la vie du victime à l’acteur qui habitaient jadis dans la forêt et qui ce sont déplacées vers d’autres peuples maintenant, peuvent faire l apprentissage des métiers, l alphabétisation, les AGR avec d’autres communautés. N.B. La promotion de la femme en milieu urbain est estimée au taux de 80% tandis que dans le milieu rural le taux est de 45%, cela est du à l’analphabétisme raison pour laquelle leur promotion demeure faible.
RECOMMANDATIONS :
Dans le cadre de renforcer la promotion de la femme congolaise, il faudra consolider les réseaux des organisations qui sont dans la lutte pour la promotion de la femme et faire des sensibilisations et campagnes pour assurer aux femmes une meilleure protection contre la torture y compris toutes violences faites à leur égard et renforcer la protection des défenseurs des droits fondamentaux des femmes en général.
Nous plaidons beaucoup pour l’alphabétisation des femmes analphabètes pour leur permettre de quitter l’ignorance, avoir l’estime de soi même dans la communauté et arriver à la prise de décision .

FIGHT FOR THE PROMOTION OF CONGOLESE WOMEN IN SOUTH-KIVU

In relation to the promotion of Congolese women and especially those in South-Kivu, women have been promoted in different ways:

1. On an intellectual level, several have attained political, administrative, military and even religious positions.

In the course of this week, 6 women leaders of South-kivu were promoted:
4 women were appointed to be provincial ministers and 2 others to the "Gouvernorat de Province" (governorship of the province).

1. On a socioeconomic level, women are intervening, without restraint, in the management of public and private assets. EX : South-Kivu civil society is presided over by a woman.
   -Rural women who have been made aware of opportunities have become leaders. They have attained decision-making roles in the community, the family, and can manage a revenue-generating activity, which is the specific case of our Pygmy and Bantou beneficiaries in the Territory of Kalehe in a psychosocial and reintegration support project for aboriginal peoples (Batwa).




2. On a cultural level:
   Several women have had the right to an inheritance, and to have a civil marriage, which wasn't possible before, but, after several awareness campaigns and advocacy directed at local authorities, it became acceptable and possible.

I, Thérèse NDIRIRA who is addressing you, am a product of this promotion of women in South-Kivu, and I am going to soon publish evidence of this––of how I began this work which connects me with you today, after the sudden death of my husband. I have led more than 200 Pygmy women from a life of marginalization to being able to thrive, from being a victim to being an actor. They once lived in the forest, and have now moved closer to other people. They now can learn trades, how to read and write, and engage in AGR with other communities. N.B. The promotion of women in urban settings is estimated at a rate of 80%, while in rural areas the rate is 45%, due to illiteracy that hinders their promotion.

RECOMMENDATIONS :
In the context of reinforcing the promotion of the Congolese woman, it will be necessary to consolidate the networks of organizations which are fighting to promote women, and implement awareness campaigns to ensure that women are better protected against torture, including all forms of violence done to them, and to reinforce the protection of those who defend the fundamental rights of women in general.

We are doing a lot of advocacy for helping illiterate women become literate, to allow them to escape ignorance, to build their self-esteem and the esteem of the community and to enable them to make decisions.
