Tis' a Small World

'It's a small world indeed", I said to myself after meeting three members of the worldpulse community by chance in a conference in Bangalore, India recently.

First, I met Jessica who said she was impressed with the frankness in my journal pages. Then I met Mama Africa, Lindy from Kenya, who was an inspiration to me with her genuine desire to help her fellow African women have better lives.

And then, there was Teresita from the Philippines. She is such a warm person.

Imagine meeting three persons from the worldpulse community just like that, perfectly by chance!

The conference had as theme "Telling Stories: Why narrative matters in Public Engagement with Science". One of the strands during that conference was Gender and boy, didn't I enjoy the gender sessions!

After interacting with these three very wonderful women and many other women from several countries, I was glad I had traveled thousands of miles and crossed two oceans to make to it to that conference in Bangalore, India.
