About Me

Nelsa is a Health advocate and Public Health Nutritionist, currently volunteering with Value Health Africa as a nutritionist and Sexual and Reproductive Health coordinator and work with Cameroon medical women association. My work is focused on reducing the prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and fostering sexual and reproductive health among young girls. I have made numerous strides in the nutritional space one of which is the development of a nutrition tool kit for NCD patients adopted and used in several local communities. I also run programs on different social media platforms to raise awareness on healthy lifestyle practices because I believe the root cause of diseases often arise from unhealthy practices. Furthermore through volunteerism, I have been able to educate over 3000 young girls on good sexual and reproductive health practices. I am an addict to healthy lifestyle because i believe it is the base behind any healthy, happy and prosperous community.
