White Handkerchief : Watching a typical film on Gender Based Violence (1/4)

The Universities are one of the areas we are the rights of students as per their Gender Been violated and most at times the students stay quiet because they are afraid.

It was now time to make all the students to be aware of the wrong in sexually transmitted Marks and violations on Gender Based Violence and the services available for the survivors.

We were four of us that came together and had a fours learning session of learning the myths of Gender Based Violence, watching a video showing how culture results to gender base Violence and sharing of stories by Survivors of Gender Based Violence and services available for them and the different laws in Cameroon on Gender Based Violence.

We ended up with group pictures and sharing of T-SHIRTS to every participant to orange the world. This was during the 16 Activism to end Gender Based Violence 2019 in the University of Buea.

137 students participated.

They told us that they learn so much from the myth and from stories from survivors.

Services available where the first time they were been told.
